Has online marketing changed? With more and more marketing strategies being discovered and developed, how do we cope with the changing face of business the business world?

The demand for online marketing tips and strategies has drastically grown and let’s face it, we do need more internet marketing strategies. Do we really? While there are companies that are all too eager to help your site and business build a clientele for a fee, there are also many other ways to spread the word, your word about your sites in a more cost free way. One of this is Opt-in email marketing, also known as permission marketing.

Opt-in marketing requires the permission of a willing customer to subscribe to your marketing materials, materials that take form in newsletters and promotional mailings via e-mail. The more opt-in marketing mail is sent, the more chances there is to bag sales and more sales. To do this, you must build a list of all those who wants to subscribe to your opt-in marketing list.

From your list, you will get your targeted customer, this is a good list since they already have shown interest in what you have to show and sell since they have willingly signed in for your list. These are the people who have liked what they have seen in your site and have decided they want to see more and maybe even purchase what ever product or service your company and site has to offer.

Here are two of them.

1) Put up a good opt in web form in your site. A good web form for subscribing to an opt-in list is not hard to do. Just write a simple short statement about how they would like to see more and get updated about the site. Then there should be an area where they could put in their names and e-mail address. As more people sign in, your list will be growing. The opt in form on my blog’s left hand site is made with Getresponse. You can also build opt in forms with Aweber or Trafficwave.net autoresponder services as well.

Of course you do need to set up a professional autoresponder account. This isn’t the time to play around with self-hosted scripts that might not deliver your emails. If you end up having to switch autoresponders, you run the risk of losing a good number of subscribers who may not re-subscribe, so choose carefully.

Yes, I made this mistake and it could have been easily avoided. I wanted to “save” money, or let’s say, I did not want to spend any. I wasted lots of time with setting up an autoresponder, deleting everything after a while, getting a new one, trying the free ones, etc.

PLEASE do not make this mistake!!

2) You need to have well written articles. Since I am not a writer I find sites like this very helpful: 12 PLR reports. I have been marketing online for a while now and you could think I know it all by now. No, you are wrong. I have tried a lot, used many tools and trainings, changed systems a lot, always on the look out for the “perfect” one. I don’t think it exist.

Because as long as we use it it is not perfect anymore.
